Sending him to the minors saves $1M.

Can’t think of any other team that needs a goalie right now though.

- Pegullaville

Wouldn't Arizona or Columbus need a b/u if we traded for one of theirs?

Haula wouldn't be a bad 3C
- Buff36

I'd actually like 23 to get a shot at 3C. They should have done it last year. If nothing else they would know if he was an option or not for when Staal leaves.

Haula, Kahun and a goalie is next. Kahun should be priority but isn’t. Odds are defense stays the same with Irwin being 7. Need to move Hutton this year and Okposo next are the main issues
- Beezer33

Ahh forgot about hauls. I think the ship has sailed on Kahun. Kahun overplayed his hand. Buffalo offered just Under $2m for multiple years- I bet he doesn’t get 1.5 when he signs.

I’m not particularly impressed with Irwin, except for his price. I hope we have better plans for our 3 LHD

I agree, especially to at least try to get Skinner going.

They offered Kahun $1.4M per on a multi year deal, supposedly. That's why he didn't take it, and I wouldn't have either at that number. I'd have waited to see if I could get more too if I were him.

Can we just send him to Europe now? Get him playing in Sweden
- IndianaSabresFan

It’s his choice not ours, but I bet they’re trying to figure something out

Not a bad idea at all really, though they’ve never talked about it

Ahh I thought it was higher. Still he may not see $1.4m - vesey got league minimum for instance. Maybe he crawls back to buffalo and accepts that although it’s probably off the table at this point

Everyone got less than they would have last summer. The only one who might not have is 🥧

I don't think it would be off the table as they do like what Kahun brings.

I bet Kahun thought he made the right move when he saw what Girgensons got only to think oh poop after seeing all the other contracts.

Kahun is better than Vesey by a good margin.

That's really amazing. Wouldn't you want to know what you have? I think the only explanation would be that they know his skating isn't good enough, which might be right.

I’d assume they look for a cheaper backup then Hutton but I could be wrong.

Sure would make it interesting, get the young guns Olofsson Cozens Quinn going right away

By season, he's receiving a $.4M, $.6M, and $.8M raise?

Where's the .25M number coming from?

- kingcong39

.8m divided by 3

He gets a .4m raise the 1st year
Then a .2 raise the next year
Then another .2 raise

The raises are from 1 year to the next

One thought that occurred to me when Hall signs is who is the second line to go out in OT? In the past they could put 23 out there if Jack was protecting him but I would think Hall now takes that spot. They didn't trust Skinner last year and I don't think Staal can skate well enough at his age to do it. If memory serves me Johanson was out there quite a bit.

I doubt it
Maybe Mitts or Tage though?
They paid Tage,
so i think he gets 1st crack unless it looks obvious it should be someone else

I think 23 gets traded within a year

They seem to want Hall long term.

Can’t really do Hall, Dahlin, and Reinhart the way it’s currently constructed

JK'g Boss...you throw out going to the games like it is critical to go to see anthing...so I like to harass you on it.

I sat in Row 1 of 300's since the move from The Aud...split seasons with a group of guys...4 seats right between the Blue and Red line....went to 15+/- games most seasons
Loved seating up high to watch the play develop.

I also used to be gifted 100's around the rink...hated those seats

In regards to going to the games, I'm not saying that I always see it better, but different.

When people like sam , but dont see how underwhelming and insignificant he is in person. He makes a few good creative plays, that make the highlights and score sheet.

39 has charts and graphs . I feel like a haiku is necessary.
