Your kinda a southern flaccoville, I get it now.
I called you out on your 2nd line ka-boohoo-hun (T.M. powerslave) . You didnt like it.

Cozens could definitely slide ahead of olloffson into the top 6
Good post 👍

The other 5 (if sam signs) were a given.

Pietrangelo left Vegas with no deal.

Wouldn’t it be nuts if Krueger signs him next?

- sbroads24

Wow. That's a shock.

Boston? They're looking for a D

Yes, that would be something
Do we want him long term though?

There's also this about Vegas 🤔🤔🤔

Some rumblings regarding Vegas players being upset their names have been rumored in trades and how poorly the situation has been handled internally. #Vegasborn

It sounds to me like they're working in tandem, and if it works, then more power to it.

Ralph said Adams made the initial pitch.

- Powerslave

Hall himself said Krueger was the one who reached out.

I’m half kidding on Adams. He’s got no support, but he flat out did the exact opposite of what he said they would do

Perhaps you need better eyes? 🤔🤔🤔

Nope, he sits in the lower 100's...can't see poop from those seats... 8h t is all nust a wow factor of game speed and the rush from the boards shaking when Girgenson falls I to them or Risto misses his 1 big check I every 4 games.

do they have the room for him?

The GM that got Staal and Hall in 3 months on the job is bad because they re-signed lesser Larry, signed Eakin and took Quinn instead of Rossi?

Bad opinion. JB is gone and he's never coming back

- jcragcrumple

Yep biggest UFA signing in Sabres history and some are pouting that we didn't resign Larsson, a vital part of one of the worst PK teams in league history.

BTW, Gustaffson just signed for $3m which is exactly what I thought he'd sign for and wanted him at that price. Somebody said projections had him at $5.5, which I said wasn't happening. Not good news for people want to unload one of Montour, Miller and Risto who are significantly higher

I suggest everyone listen to Adams interview from 5 o'clock tonight.

They talked about how Adams made his pitch and then left him alone. Hall credited the non-pressure sales technique.

He could have come across like ol gil from the Simpsons desperate and sweaty to make a sale. I agree Krueger and Eichel were probably the primary drivers but our puppet deserves way more credit than he's getting

Evolving Hockey had Gustafsson at $5M, but I also said they don't have the pandemic factored in, just the flat cap.

You were right about the $3M. Congratulations.

Hall is so obviously a good player that one of zombies from The Walking Dead would know that.

When you write things like that and hit Submit, does a pie come flying out of your phone or computer and hit you in the face?

I heard he did this with Girgensons too. No pressure Zemgus, only a 600k raise and term when you can get a pay cut on a one year deal on the open market. Take your time

If I told you when Adams was hired that he would have landed Staal and Hall, no one would believe it.

If you want to be mad about Quinn, Gus and Eakin, go for it.

Hell, I'm as anti-larry as they come, but let's try to see the forest for the trees here, not nitpick at largely inconsequential crap compared to the broader Sabres outlook compared to where Botterill left us

I love how Adams said he kept checking his phone every 5 minutes, and then when he was picking up take out for his family, he got the call 😂

And Hall said one of the deciding factors was when Ralph face timed him on Sunday and he could see in Ralph's face how much he wanted him in Buffalo.

Free agency didn't start off with a bang for GM's KA & RK, but they finished up day 3 with one.

I think that's the ultimate bottom line, however, there's nothing wrong with looking at all the moves made in totality to still remain cautious in the viewpoint of the team.

Listening to the Adams, Hall and Ralph zoom calls, Adams reached out to Hall and his agent at noon on the first day. After they formulated there could be mutual interest, Hall and his agent had a zoom call with Adams, Ralph and the Pegulas, After this, Ralph s=and Hall talked a couple more times

The process is bad. Adams preached a good plan, did the opposite

Hall and Staal are on 1 year deals. Im excited for this season.

If he doesn’t fix the goaltending and do something about Risto/Montour being the top pair. D men, both those great acquisitions are walking out that door in a year and not looking back

Me too, but not sure we'd ne able to unload any of these RHD contracts. Better UFA dmen are going for less
