I’m seriously in shock. I don’t give them a full pass for the Girgensons deal and the Kahun thing but they have earn a lot of leeway. Even if it’s just a year at least hockey should be watchable.

Move a blue liner for a goalie and they have me back hook line and sinker

Yup. I’m thrilled tbh.

It shows the owners care that Eichel is at his wits end at the very least

Please stop with the “he can always move to a contending team at the end of the year” talk. Taylor Hall has to make this work with the @BuffaloSabres A potential 5th @NHL team in 10 years would be a disaster for him.

Good post

Kahun 4 teams in 3 years possibly?

Hockeybuzz yesterday
- who cares about how many teams kahun plays on?
-Gretzky played on multiple teams?

Apparently people notice when players jump around the league. A disaster some would say?

Adams said because it's a one year contract doesn't mean that's all the Sabres want Hall for. They're hoping this turns into a successful long-term relationship, but sounds like it had to start with a one year deal more out of Hall's desire. We haven't heard from Hall yet, tho.

Saves them from protecting him at the end of the year in the expansion draft. Smart deal...

Speaking of Kahun, what is going on there? He’s made it 3 days into free-agency so are we glad we held-off, is he coming back, do we want him back..right now he’s a 3rd liker on our team and money-pending, that sounds pretty cool.

are people really worried about this?
- 3rd GM's the charm

Bit worried but it’s a thought I had. They are both pick carriers.

Both are Elmore talent though so it shouldn’t. Matter

Wow, HockeyBuzz sold out to the virus pop ups. Interesting. Guess I won’t be using this site ever again. Happy about the Hall move. Best wishes to you all, I won’t be back here, maybe I’ll see you on a different blog site.

BUF made their power move. TOR had to return fire.

They signed 3 players thus played for the Sabres last season...

Don't think they do anything major there until the Stadium situation unfolds.
- Buff36

I think the pandemic put a serious doubt on any new stadium, downtown or elsewhere.

No idea if this lineup is doable with the cap or whatever, but for right now - at this moment - this is what I'd like to see next season :

Hall Eichel Skinner (holy crap !)
Reinhart Stahl Olofsson
Mitts Cozens Quinn (would love to see this actually work)
Rieder/Eakins Lazar Thompson

Not giving up on Mitts. I think Quinn, Cozens, and Thompson should be up here. At least the young ones will make it interesting to watch. I'd much rather watch them play over Zemgus and Okposo. Not sure what to do with those two. Kind of wish we didn't sign Eakins, Girgs, and Rieder. Would love to give the young players a shot instead (Arttu and Asplund).

No it doesn't. Vegas picked Engelland who was UFA after 16-17 season.

In case you haven’t really seen. People are ripping Hall right now for playing on crap teams and a lot of them for that matter.

It’s not going unnoticed.

No idea. I think now he’s gone. Even if they traded D to open room, they seem to like Reider so I don’t know where Kahun fits.
