obviously i'm not a psychic and can't tell you what round of the playoffs the flyers will get to, but there are a lot of ways the flyers can improve the team without making a trade. i'd like them to try to address the hole niskanen left though.

It shouldnt be a shock. There were only a handful of teams with cap room to begin with. There are going to be bargains to be had if you are patient I would think.

The Flyers problem is that they need to find someone to play D on the top pair, and if it isnt someone who can hold their own up there, its often going to be ugly. So, either find someone from outside who can play those minutes or find someone to play further down the rotation and move up someone who is already on the roster.

This is going to be interesting, more so than in years past.
