Idk how much idiotic poop Trump has to do before they see it. I thought Bountygate would’ve finally been enough but apparently the lives of military members don’t matter nearly as much they like to pretend. Now he’s holding up stimulus checks from everyone for no good reason. And let’s not forget threatening to not leave the White House if he loses. Yet Biden is the unamerican one.
Anywho back to hockey. It sounds like teams are having a real tough time moving money with this flat cap. I don’t think the Flyers will see any buyouts unless they sign a D man and can’t find a taker for Ghost. |

Experience for experience sake is not itself an accomplishment. For all that time having been in DC for 40 plus years, Biden's only real accomplishment was to be re-elected in the Senate. For all his inexperience, the President has been much more successful in foreign affairs than Biden has as Senator or VP. - Sublime55
stop regurgitating Trump's lies and if successful you mean pissing off all our allies sure i guess

Serves the govt and lines his family’s pockets ( of which i don’t care) yeah he really cares about you. Look who Biden now supports. He is a fraud.
Complete disaster? Go look at what he has actually accomplished and not the false narratives; despite the dems putting up road blocks at every turn. What has Biden accomplished in 50 years? Trump is far from perfect though much better then any demo and what they have to offer |

Biden has sons that served in the military and the other guy dodged the draft and i doubt any of his sons would offer up to serve |

Flyers went with 4 wingers and a defenseman. I can't remember the last draft they didn't take a center. I guess they figured they were center heavy and wanted more winger depth in the system. |

Why are people so loath to discuss salary retained in a trade? Its only for the duration of the contract, if I remember correctly, and it prevents having to give up assets to sweeten the pot.
For example, what's wrong with retaining up to 2 million of Jakes's contract and holding onto everything?

So taking down ISIS, taking out several terrorist leaders like Al Baghdadi, the Abraham Accords between Israel and other ME nations, re-negotiating NAFTA, negotiating with Mexico to take a harder stance on immigrations....those actual news and policy events are now lies?? |

another player who is 5'8"
I guess if Andrae and McClennon don't work as hockey players, they could flip careers and become jockeys. |

How the heck did Domi get 5.3M...holy cow that is an overpayment by Columbus - JW98FlyerFan
How many years? If he plays to his potential, especially on a team with Seth Jones and pretty good compliments at forwards, he might be alright. Torts is a hell of a coach. |

Flyers took 4 wingers and a defenseman. I found a write-up of the 5th rounder out of the Q. Kind of an interesting selection and not much of a point producer: https://www.broadstreetho...-the-2020-nhl-entry-draft

Bill sounds pretty high on him. "Wisdom is one of the highest compete players in the draft . A pain to play against"
Edit: sorry, misread that. I thought Bill said "complete" not compete. - Dkos
Bills said the words “not complete player”? |

Are we having the discussion here?
1. There was not much change of course re: ISIS from administration to administration. There was no major policy initiative from Trump that led to its collapse. Things were already underway.
2. Taking out terrorist leaders - ditto: see Osama Bin Laden
3. The accords between Israel and Bahraina and UAE have one cause: Saudi Arabia, and MBS. MBS is power blind, ruthless and immature. He overstepped with the killing of Khasoggi. He desperately needs someone like Trump who would be willing to let bygones be bygones. However, his own population is too religious (Mecca and Medina are in Saudi Arabia) for him to unilaterally recognize Israel. Hence, the satellite states which are heavily dependent on Saudi Arabia did so.
4. The old NAFTA looks awfully like the new NAFTA. If you don't believe me, check the trade balance with Mexico and Canada. He knows that his base values attitude more than details, so he riles people up, but then doesn't do much. It's the bluster that matters.
5. The stance with Mexico and other nations to constrain the flow of immigrants was certainly effective, though it is likely to be temporary.
Why do you want to base your argument on such sideshows?
What about his gigantic tax cut at the beginning of his regime which cut corporate taxes by 50% and for the first time in modern US history, increased the % of federal debt to GDP ratio? For sure, it led to an economic boom, in which the common guy made a few hundred dollars more. But what about the bill to come in terms of the depleting Social Security and Medicare deficits, not to speak of all other government programs?
EDIT: I mean in a boom. |

For me Jake has too much term left on his deal to eat money. Especially when we don’t know when the cap will go up again.
To me I don’t eat more than two years of any contract. I just wouldn’t want to have dead cap space for someone that far removed from the team. In regards to Jake I think there’s a somewhat decent chance Seattle takes him free and clear if we don’t protect him. |

I guess it's all dependent on when you want to free up salary. For example, if you decide realistically to get AP now. |
