Karine, you made a mistake translating "mais quand est venu le tour du CH de sélectionner".

the usage tells us that "sélecter" is the right word here.

There is still some solid picks left. Habs might have some good picks tomorrow if they aren’t traded for Saad

I want to see Karine try spelling that New Jersey pick ... Shakir MulahMaumdaflapulin (or whatever).

I know ... that's mean.

Agreed, she should invest in the official Habs spellcheck software.

This goes back to my point about the Habs staff speaking French, they are all speaking franglais to an extent anyways...

yep he was up there too. hope he does well.
but I don't want to see them tell me how hard it is to draft local talented guys. we've heard that one before too.

If that's a consideration, just like the coach who must speak french rule, it's adding another handicap to this team. Best player available, I don't care if he's from Mars.

Last year at the draft Claude told Bergy "make sure you get me some beef!"

Well since,

Struble, Fairbrother, LeGuerrier and now Guhle, add in Romanov and Fleury from previous years and there's your beef.

Oh ya, that Josh Anderson guy is pretty beefy too. No more pushing the Habs around

looks to be a consensus that Guhle was ahead of Lapierre, but between #16 and #22 there's not a huge world of a difference... Lapierre's injury situation really influenced this, and perhaps a bit too much

i don't like bettman but it's sad to see anybody like that. he's 68, not completely sure but looks like parkinson's. parkinson's tremors are there when you stay still and go away when you move.

well that's kind of my point, teams had different lists so technically the true "best player available" depends on who you're talking to

The best player available at #16 today was Mercer according to the Scabeh's wishlist.
