That's steep

I think so too... he wants long term, if Bergy goes to 5 years, Anderson should be below 5

I'd like that.

But I truly think it'll end a 5 x5.

I know the potential is there, but do his current numbers really justify this ask..?

just watch the replay of anderson's 27 goals in his good season. everyone was saying he scored that many because of panarin... he was on the ice with boone jenner and nick foligno for 3/4 of the goals I saw. but it sure seems that we found our empty net goal specialist. was the missing piece since pacioretty left.

Of the Habs players drafted so far, Tuch is the one I'm most interested in.

The first 3 seem like really good picks... they did well, in acquiring a 2nd next year too... nothing wrong with that, might come in handy at the deadline

no. 3.5M/AAV at max. bergy should sign him for a one year show me deal since he is coming off of major shoulder surgery.

You must have got the Leafs YouTube montage of Anderson then. You missed all of the plays he single-handedly forced a turnover and went down the wing and sniped multiple power forward type goals. You need better internet.

He’ll be UFA Next year tho no? A one year deal for Domi and a third would be even worse. Have to settle somewhere in the middle .

hmm. somehow the guy manages to put up 45-ish points but seem invisible most of the time. can't argue with his production and he would for sure help the pp. 3M or so on a very short deal? then . good value

if he performs well, then extend him during the season. you give him a longer contract and he ends up being a 25 point guy, you want to be paying 4.5M for that?

That's what I'm thinking... sh!t player at a 7 million cap hit but half of that and he suddenly becomes useful... salary cap era!!

He performs and might price himself out of Montreal... Bergy has enough to deal with next year, gonna have to roll the dice here I think
