Now, the real question lies in this: You want that steak straight up, or in fajitas? Currently marinating in garlic, lime zest, ancho chili powder, cumin, s&p, and grapeseed oil. I'll add the lime juice in the last hour while bringing the steak to room temperature. (Adding it too early can destroy the muscle fibre, making for a gritty/mushy feel.) - Darksyde
ooh, that does sound like fajita steak! let's do fajitas! |

The only issue I currently have with the moves MB has made is that last night, Old Man Brian "Truculence!" Burke thinks MB has made some great moves, and that we're set. That worries me...a lot. - Darksyde
I can see where MB is coming from. If you look at the last 2 cup champions, St.Louis and TB, they were talented AND physical teams. All recent moves from the Habs has included size and/or grit. We overpaid for Anderson just because of the market for big players. For the last 10 years the new NHL was all speed, now it's getting back to a balance of speed and... yeah, truculence.
That said, I would have focused on offensive talent in the 1st round, but if we got a reliable top-4 defenseman, good. |

Did we really overpay when not many teams wanted to pay for Domi? |

I kinda hoped we were done with drafting Chiphuras with our first round picks |

They're gonna move one of Savard or Murray and try to dump Dubinsky somewhere, which wont be easy |

Trade Ryan Murray to a team who thinks he'll magically become healthy there? |

I think that we overpaid.
Domi's biggest season is 72 pts
Anderson's biggest season if what, 47 pts?
Anderson had recent serious injuries
We even gave up a 3rd round pick - no biggie, but could have been packaged in another way - it was clearly just a matter of giving a little more than another team interested in Anderson.
I think we will love Anderson but we overpaid IMHO |

I don't think it's as bad as a Chipchura-type pick but yeah, I was hoping for more high risk offensive hit or miss guys.

There’s not only points to look at. I don’t think Domi does really well with Torteralla has a coach. CLB isn’t really an offensive team, he’s going to play with guys like Wennberg and Jenner. Behind First Center Dubois.
I don’t know. He’s probably going to do another 40-50pts season and be paid 5-6millions for 2 years while Anderson is probably a 3-4millions for 4years.
Anderson brings a lot more then Domi would. Honestly he’s a train, he goes corners, drive nets, drops gloves and score goals. That if healthy but I guess Bergevin had medical report about it.
Domi was good at first season but he end up being mad, took stupid penalties that costed games and changed his hockey style. He tried being Crosby, driving through everyone à la Galchenyuk and end up losing pucks. He was also small and we had enough of it here
Did we really lose the trade? I don’t think so. |

Bergevin will probably flip one for a 4th and a 5th
Which makes zero sense because they already have too many picks. |
