He specially mentions Hoglander and young guys making the team on ELC. Hoglander/Podkolzin being being very important to the team cuz of their ELCs and flat cap.

I mean if they end up signing a big fish UFA, I can buy what you're selling but as of now I think they're worse off without Niskanen even with his cap hit. Losing the guy who played on your top pairing is probably not ideal unless you can replace him with someone as good or better.
