JB says OJ is ready and Rathbone is bubble.
Rathbone is also 25,I think, so pretty much peaked, I'd keep OJ in a heart beat over him. - Pres.cup
My turn he is 21 😂 |

OEL has already divided this fanbase in halves and he isn’t even a member of the organization yet. Add that to his Swedish genes and albatross contract, you couldn’t get a more perfect Vancouver Canuck |

Sounds like there have been plenty of calls to #NYR GM Jeff Gorton about availability of the No. 1 overall pick over last two months - including a (recent?) overture from #LAKings to swap No. 1 and No. 2.
Alas, we are told #NYR have zero intention of trading No. 1.

I see the Sabres or Minny landing him. The other teams ahead of them will pass imo. Then again teams will salivate he falls even further. - Nighthawk
If he’s the next Vasy then he’s well worth a top 10 pick, I don’t know poop about him though lol |

Yeah, I’ve read about Clapton’s Powerhouse but they didn’t last long. I think they only released a couple of songs and then disbanded. Record labels seem to have these “studio projects” with different musicians they had under contract back then. Kind of a cool idea you don’t see much anymore.
That got me thinking about the Yardbirds. It’s amazing that one band could produce the likes of Clapton, Beck, and Page. Phenomenal. - bloatedhefty

He’s a good fit for at least 4 teams in the top 10. That said who knows where he lands. |

For people thinking OEL would be a waste for a second pairing, this was what Tampa looked like winning the cup:
VICTOR HEDMAN KEVIN SHATTENKIRK
MIKHAIL SERGACHEV ERIK CERNAK
RYAN MCDONAGH ZACH BOGOSIAN
Significantly weaker on the right than the left. Having OEL give us the ability to have one of our ELC guys on the second pairing with him, without looking weakened in our top 4. This would give the potential for a Rafferty or Chatfield to step in. |

I agree that having anchors on one side can work but it’s clear that the Yotes are asking for too much so it’s time to move on.
Lol’d at Chatfield though, he’s a meh top 4 AHL dman right now |

The Golden Knights have reportedly offered a second-round pick for a team to take just half of Fleury’s salary, but teams, including the Hurricanes, are asking for a first and a second. Moving Fleury is the top priority right now.

Just listened to Shane Malloy who said Yaroslav Askarov could be the best player in the draft, essentially the next Elias Pettersson, as in passed over regrettably by a bunch of teams.
He’s touted as an elite goaltender. - Pacificgem
