According to sources, the Rangers have not decided whether to send a qualifying offer to pending restricted free agent Ryan Strome.
New York has reportedly tendered qualifying offers to Tony DeAngelo, Alexandar Georgiev and Brendan Lemieux to retain their negotiation rights ahead of Tuesday's deadline. However, it's unclear how the team will proceed with Strome's contract. If he doesn't get a qualifying offer then he can become an unrestricted free agent. Strome is eligible for salary arbitration following a career-year offensively in 2019-20 when he provided 59 points (18 goals, 41 assists) in 70 games.
