Just because TSN beat Ek on these 3 signings doesn't mean Ek doesn't have sources. In fact, Ek might have known before TSN but he isn't working 24 hours a day like TSN. Besides, a story about Lehner re-signing in Vegas isn't even a surprise. I would rather see Ek spend time with his sources on juicier stories...like Hall coming home to Calgary, Malkin wanting to become an ace/man, where does Pat Laine go, when RFA wars are starting, or how Ceci is being talked about as a consolation prize to Pietrangelo and Krug. That's more interesting to me!!

As much as I would love to see the King in a Red and Green sweater, there is not a shot in a ducks fart that will happen. The Wild have no chance of a cup in the next 4 years (til Henry retires), and they are trying to trade all their guys in their 30's to bring in young blood. The only way this happens is if the Wild give $8MIL+ a season, and the King doesn't care about winning a cup |

Wild are no contender.
Wild has been trading vets for younger blood.
