I was copying and pasting their names from google searches. I have no idea how to type those special characters but thought it would look funny if I were using them.

What did I miss?

Jimbo still trying to recruit posters to trade the 1st overall?

What about Kakko+ to LA for 2nd overall. Fills the need at center for the Rangers, fills the need on the wing for the Kings.

I don't think LA does that.

me neither

right now it's pretty easy to say that Byfield and Stutzle are both better prospects than Kakko unfortunately

That's the thing. It's not even a guarantee but right now I would agree with that. Now Kakko and 22+ and they probably start talking.

Kakko could still end up being the best of all three mentioned, but we're not gonna know that for a while.

Kakko's a project, a project with incredible potential, but still a project

he's got a lot of developing to do and a lot to work on

He looked good after the break. One of the few bright spots in the Canes series

For sure. But I think having an even higher pick coming in will benefit Kakko a ton. Shifts the focus and gives him someone to compete with.

definitely, I'll feel better about him if the puck starts going in a little easier though

Yeah.

At least he seems to have the shooting mentality now. Was passing up a ton of chances early on. Expected, he was a rookie. Can't wait to see how he plays next season. I'm gonna say it now, he will be a force.

I agree Kakko isn’t as high as them right now, but would Kakko 22nd and Chytil get it done? I feel like that fixes both teams weaknesses

Ranger prospect Karl Henriksson has been moved from center to LW on his SHL team for the past two games. IDK if this is temporary, but if it is permanent we are going to need more centermen in our pipeline.

If it hasn't been pointed out already, Brendan Smith is the only Ranger under contract age 30 or older.

New signings withstanding, when Smith's contract runs out this season, Kreider will be the only player under contract when the 2021-22 season begins age 30 or older.
(Panarin will turn 30 end of Oct in the 2021-22 season.)

If Gorton is able to manage the cap this team could be a monster for quite a while

With the removal of Hank and Staal PLUS the probable addition of Lafreniere, the Rangers should be the youngest team in the league next year.

Not if he Coyotes trade everyone over the age of 25 by draft day. They need to add picks and shed salary.
