Anytime you can trade a potential superstar away for a couple top 6 players you have to do it.

Yes, he did. But, that doesn't mean Ottawa would actually do this. I wouldn't.
Lawton also said that he has LaFreniere substantially higher than 2nd pick.
it's all about "Lafreniere will be a superstar but he can never have the impact on a game that a top line center will have no matter what he does" - jimbro83

Did he say that, too? I jumped around a bit.
Yeah, no wingers can control a game.
Good thing no one told that to Ovi. ... Panarin... Kane... Kucherov...

one thing that jumped out at me was that in 2009 he said Tampa had a trade worked out with Montreal where Lecavalier was going to the Habs for a package of players including Subban, but Tampa ownership put the kabosh on it

I agree but they usually have legit #1 centers to compliment them. Toews, Bäckström and Kuznetsov might not be "superstars" but they're pretty damn close. Point and Stamkos are/were superstars. Zibanejad is right there now too so I'm not worried.

You take Lafrenière and you don't look back. - JRR1285
I know this isn't a popular opinion around here, but I don't care...
You're ok, JRR.

Things are believed to be intensifying in Arizona on the OEL front, however, unless something changes, the Oilers have been told they’re not on the short list of teams OEL will waive his trade protection to go to.

You're a little umlaut and accent happy, don't ya think?
