Later today. All ready to go. Kind of thought this news was way more important

Next year you should get Ek to give you a different blog for the draft.

Hey, I saw Marcel Dionne earlier this year. He still looks good. Maybe he can still play?

I want to have faith in JD but I think this is all to just sign the guys they have. Strome, ADA, Giorgiev, Fast, & Lemieux are going to total almost $18 million.

Do you wear glasses, by any chance?
I see him around town every now and again. Unless he recently lost a ton, he is generally as round as a puck.

I dont have a memory of TJ getting upset about a Ranger leaving when we were kids, I was always the one who took that poop very hard

Gotta sit down my two later. Both goalies, both wear #30. Going to be some dissapointment at the dinner table tonight in my house (after hockey practice!)

As far as a business standpoint is concerned, buying out Henry made lots of sense. Unfortunate how he ends his tenure, but its a business and they made the right move. Also A+ job on ditching the Staal contract. If you boys can flip Trouba for a #1LD, and ink DeAngelo you will be in a fantastic position going forward! Your RD is stacked and something needs to be done to bring in some lefties

I think they are gonna make a move that will blow our hair back

the negative attention Henrik's buyout is getting is going to be diverted

- jimbro83

Honestly I don't think it'll happen. Maybe Eichel for Trouba+22nd? Because it would be a shame to overpay now

Ride this year out and let’s see where we’re at with the kids. Plenty of money to go around now.

I saw a fact about Eichel that really makes me believe no way they are trading him and it's moot to discuss

Buffalo had to give him a a 7.5 million signing bonus on July 1st, and thats not an easy check for that guy to write

Eichel has a NMC that kicks in on July 1st 2022, if they ever trade him it will be right around then, they aint trading him now

FYI...his next 7.5 million signing bonus is also due July 1st 2022

Here's a trade to consider:

To Las Vegas: Ryan Strome

To Rangers: Paul Stastny

Vegas can resign Strome for less than the $6.5 mill they owe Stastny so they save some valuable cap space and get a much younger replacement.

Rangers get one of the best face off centermen in the NHL who is starting to decline at age 34. He only has one year left on his contract and would be a GREAT mentor to Chytil, Howden and Barron. He would be motivated to play his best for his next contract too. He has a 10 team NTC but I would think NYR would be on his "approved" list. We have the cap space to take on his one year cap hit. WIN/WIN

This one, I LIKE!

I have no idea whether it's fair, but what's written here makes sense.

It's only really good if either we know Chytil will be the 2C in a year or Statsny will resign for a lower figure on his next contract. I think Statsny will have a Cullen esque aging curve, but I don't want to commit too much money to him

Starting? He's been a big "meh" for years. A big to this trade. I'll keep Strome.

Now that I have more time to check him out, you are right. I revoke my earlier support for this trade!
But, Stasny IS elite on draws and take aways. What if Chytil moved to 2RW and Stasny was our 3C playing with Quickie and Lafreniere?
Just spitballing this, but it can't take too much to acquire him.

Henrik will sign with the Caps and defeat his former team soundly at every meeting! It will be a great move to have him mentor Samsonov! He could accept a 1 yr contract for less than $3M and not lose any money! Such a win-win for the King!

Perhaps he meant to say move Chytil to 2C. I do not dislike PS, just don't want him on my young team driving up the overall age of the team. Right now, Smith is the old kid on the block at 30 (31 in February).

Seriously though. Every time I have PS on my fantasy team he just flat-out sucks goat b@lls. If Rangers make a splash, it should be for more than a one year handjob.
