But yes, still early.
this team can and has put up a lot of runs in single innings. - Fakepartofme
Ya. But he could still recover (If given the chance).
I don't know how long his leash will be. If they let Ryu continue to struggle past the 2nd inning after they pulled Shoemaker after the 3rd yesterday...

Bichette with another error
bases loaded.
Jesus
Edit: Instead of getting out of the inning Bichette's error loads bases and Ryu just gave up a grand slam.

Add in some experience and just do 1yr cheaper deals for Thornton and Ryan
Teilly - Pietro
Muzzin - Holl
Sandin - Gudas
Use Marincrap to sit in the press box - Roadrunner75
I'd like this to serve as textbook evidence as to why I'm so hesitant to sign AP.
We lose Nylander, our second line has a rookie and an international signing who hasn't played a game in the NHL. The bottom six is really at minimum 80% fringe nhlers and total has beens.
All to roll out a blueline that has AP, Gudas... Holl still in the top 4, and a 20 year old with 30 or so career games.
Pietrangelo doesn't save this lineup from getting killed by playing 25 minutes a night, the team is pot committed on the cap and his contract will hit a point of regression.
Ya - Teammates need to pick up the pitcher there when he is struggling. Can't make that error. - Leafs43
Team is still primarily a bunch of kids. They weren't suppose to be here and it's showing. 162 game season and they likely wouldn't have made it. This experience though will be a good learning curve for the future.
This young Jays club has a bright future but they do need some quality arms.
