As somebody who is more qualified in math than the vast majority of the planet that's absolute bullpoop. Somebody assuming they should rule due to physical dominance is just as ignorant and narcissistic as somebody assuming their education should elevate them to power over others

Does anyone really believe that the Habs have improved enough to make the playoffs. We're talking about a team that finished 24th in the league and beat a stale Pittsburg team. Has JJ really improved to a consistent second line center in NHL? Has Bergy done anything to improve the power play? Jake Allen is an improvement as a back up but is he going to provide better goaltending than Price as Price never had many bad games last year? Even if Allen does play better provides better goaltending they still haven't improved their goal scoring.

It's a bit early to make assumptions. The Stanley Cup was just won, draft hasn't even happened yet and same thing for free agency.

For the backup situation. Last year they had ONLY 14 games with 3 backup, only 4 wins out of it. I imagine Allen playing more then 14 games and having a better Wins ratio
Then 4 games.

Has for défense, that’s the BIG improvement. We got bigger and better. We have our future top 2 in Romanov if all goes well. Edmunson is better then Kulak, Mete and Fleury so that’s another win.

Still, défense need to contribute to offense so hopefully these guys helps out.

Still need a RW and maybe a good checker on the 4th line that can contribute
