I knew it was coming but it’s still big news, the Rags are buying out Lundqvist...truly the end of an era...i don’t think i’ll ever forget his pained face when the Rags got eliminated. - Karine Hains

Price has got to be thinking "I don't want it to end like that"

For sure...but it is a business so could happen. I mean when they Rags said they were rebuilding they asked him if he wanted out, he said no, two years later they just buy him out like that after 15 years. I hope he retires, he shouldnt wear another uniform |

MB said he will not go after Laine but I wont be surprised if he does, he also said he wont trade Subban and look what happened - habs88888
To be fair, he said he wasn’t shopping him as in actively trying to move him, he didn’t say he wouldn’t trade him... He had at one point said that Sergachev was untouchable though...somewhere along the line he changed his mind lol |

tks Karine,
did they really spent half the interview on Domi? - fidopro
Yeah they did but that’s Marinaro for you, once he digs in on something, he digs in... To be fair, Domi has been the talk of the town since the end of the playoffs... |

he's 38 now, I'm not sure if a team would give him a try as backup but yeah it would be weird seeing him in another jersey... no cup, so that's kinda sad, but I'm not gonna feel bad for him, he probably still made a few bucks along the way lol

Indeed it is, the Rangers are ready to move on ... so should Lundqvist.
I'm sure he'll be fine with all the millions he's made over his career.
Although different it kinda reminds me of how Markov went out ... we were offering him a 1 year contract and he wanted 2. Oh well ... que sera sera. |

Oh for sure, but it’s nice when an athlete ends his career on his own terms like when Roy decided to call it quits and Bourque retired after raising the cup. I hated the way Brodeur ended playing a few games with St-Louis and kind of hurting his “legend” so to speak because he looked and played his age... |

Rangers are going to be offensively dangerous soon. With Kakko and Lafreniere. Panarin, Kreider, even Kratsov.
Not a huge defensive but I wouldn’t be surprise if a Krug or Petrangelo end up there |

Well, they are the media and they have to come up with material in order to sell ads ... on the other side, Bergeron (*wink wink*) is not going to expose his game plan publicly. He needs to keep his cards close to his chest in order to deal with other GM's.
So you end up with these useless interviews that satisfy no one ... but everyone listens to anyway. |
