? Since when, i always saw him play on the left. Where did he play right?
- Habsody

I think in the KHL he mostly played on the right, but I'm only basing it on reading match reports.

Ok, well it's pretty clear he will be on left side here but it's good to know that he can also help on the right if needs be.

I kind of like him better of the right side, in theory. Since he likes to hit on zone entry, he wouldn't be on his back hand to pick up the puck if it stays close.

Why would they get rid of one of their best defensemen?

Comment oublier sa passe suicide à Eller (surement pas Gryba)? J'étais à la game avec mon père, jamais il n'a été aussi silencieux à un match lol.

The Canadiens have agreed to terms with goaltender Michael McNiven on a one-year, two-way contract.

I guess this means Charlie Lindgren is on his way out?

with covid it's confusing as to who will be playing in what league... did the AHL say they're planning something?

apparently they are meeting today...I think they will follow the NHL, they usually start a week or so after them.

McNiven somewhere in the ECHL, Primeau and Demcheko or whatever in the AHL, Price and Allen in the NHL...Yeah, I really don't see a spot for him.

McNiven said in an interview that they just dumped him in the ECHL, where he played with 3 different teams (Habs don't have an ECHL affiliate), with little to no contact with Habs management. He said he didn't wanted to live through that again.

Well, apparently he trusts the Habs to find him a more permanent ECHL position with contacts, or he doesn't think anybody else will want him.

makes sense, and yeah it probably means Lindgren is leaving... never saw him as a particularly solid goaltender anyways, so..

speaking of ECHL, I think the habs' plans to have a franchise there will probably have to wait...
