A simple thought experiment should be able to conclude that there are far more skilled LHD than RHD.

If we were to take the top 50 defensemen in the NHL, how many would be RHD? I'd be willing to bet the ratio is probably close to 2:1 in favour of LHD.

According to Baseball Reference (the single most-impressive and also preposterous site on the interwebs), there has never been an MLB baseball player who spelled their last name "Rodrigues". And there are no "Evan Rodriguez"'s recorded in MLB history.

I'll admit, this shocks me.

I do remember the whole fiasco. He played during the Dark Doping Times. In his MVP season he stole 25 bases. That, alone, should have been enough to raise some eyebrows.
