I was just making a joke on how ridicules some of the Hab and Flyers offer for Laine are. The sad thing those offers are serious.

Depends where the picks are. Certainly not ottawa 3 and 5 overall. Laine is 100% being traded because he screws up the jets salary structure. You can't have him above all around players like scheiffle wheeler and connor. He will bring back important D like Dumba ++. Not a stay at home guy like pesci.

Forget Ghost as he's mistake prone Flyer signing mistake that has trouble staying in their lineup and the Jets have enough 5/6 d-men. Provorov, Patrick, if he passes a physical, and either Frost or a 1st get the Jets to listen as you know that Laine is a special talent that don't come on the market very often.

To NJ: Patrik Laine, Adam Lowry, 2021 lottery protected first round pick (stipulation being that if the pick is in the lottery, than the Devils get the 2022 first round pick)

To WPG: Nico Hischer, PK Subban, #18 & #20 overall picks
