They would be crazy to give a first to move Eriksson . Send Loui and Sven back to Utica and bring in OJ and a forward prospect.
- VANTEL

The minors is the only solution for Loui, even if there is no season, just don't ever want to see him in Canucks uniform again, for that matter, I never wanted to see him in a Canucks jersey in the first place.

He makes the most sense for a buyout if you decide to go down that route. Short penalty period and he has a high cap hit.
- NorthNuck

First of all he had 6 points in 17 playoff games and he was on pace to be a 35 point player last year.

Do you really want an additional 1.166 mil on the books when you need to sign your two franchise players?

Let him finish his year . He will be injured most of it anyways

As much as we'd like to see him moved, fuk that.

I have put Loui already on the bus .

I am looking forward to seeing OJ and Hoglander has been putting up a lot of numbers. 11 pts in 7 games (preseason included) .

If it makes the difference between having or not having a top 4 Dman or a top 6 forward then yes.

Does anyone honestly think there's even a remote possibility that the Canucks won't be able to re-sign Petey and Hughes?

Agree, that would be a step in the wrong direction.

He thinks because they haven’t won a Cup they’re not good at drafting, I guess, I’m of the opinion you just have to be a really competitive team to warrant being called a great drafting team....which they have been for a decade.

To each their own, he’s certainly entitled to his opinion, as am I.

Am I not understanding the conversation? Did they not win it in 2004? Something like 12 years after they entered the league?

Didn’t Brad Richards win the Conn Smythe that year?

Yes, but we were kind of talking about the past ten years and the current players they’ve assembled.

If the AHL doesn’t operate next season I can see him being loaned to a Swedish team, Canucks just don’t have room for his services any longer.

1.166 mil is not going to stop JB from signing his franchise players.

His swings for the fences, early on, while giving up draft picks, hurt, but we can't keep crying over spilt milk.
I like most of his drafting, but, taking players like Manukyan and Palmu have me baffled, quit wasting a valuable pick on these types of players.
I would prefer he gambles on a defenseman with some size and other attributes,
heck look at Phillippe Myers, left undrafted, then signed by your Flyers.

- Reubenkincade

This. For a 'meat & potatoes' guy, you'd think he would be going for mobile but rugged D picks instead of potentially gifted little people.

Oh, ok. I thought I was in the twilight zone for a second.

28 year old team on the verge of winning their second cup. Must be nice.

Some are saying why? He only has one year left and can still play. Save that $.

“Sigh of relief for the #Seahawks : An MRI confirmed RB Chris Carson’s ligaments are intact and it’s just a minor knee sprain, source said. In fact, he’s got a chance to be ready for this week’s game at Miami.”

I don't think there is any chance of him being bought out (IMO) I just didn't want to discuss it for pages and pages so I said" Fine lets see"

The Canucks had a chance, well not really, to win it 12 years into their existence and then again 12 years later. But we didn’t, which is why we’re all so sour and critical

Nothing against little people, lol, but this team needs some bigger player, up front and especially on defense.

I melt down on a weekly basis, I’m not even sure why any more, but nevertheless it’s still happening #Benning
