Could be he preferred Claude's system to Cassidy's. How much of this is Bruins fans kicking a player on the way out the door is what I would factor in as well. Is he an elite defender? no..but with what the Habs have on the left side and the need for an offensive element playing alongside Weber his defensive inefficiencies could likely be hampered with the defensive prowess Weber brings.

Another day. Another trade involving someone NOT on the roomer chartz. You should just have the entire league on the chartz.
