He had 4 (frank)ing goals tooph
What's fake about that?
Your ability to be a Bill's fan (if you are) and criticize allen for 2 plus years makes you a troll. - Boss34
You do realize your constant criticism of Dahlin's production in year 2 at 19 yo is setting yourself up for the exact same torture you are puting Tooth, 36 and Fitz through with Allen, right?
Or, when Dahlin breaks through in 1 to 2 years will you say you knew he'd be awesome as a franchise Dman after his 1st period of play?,lol.
I'm torn on Mikheyev, as I like the player, but think that offer sheet is high for what he's done in all of 40 games in his first season, but that's also likely the only way Toronto doesn't match. - kingcong39
Offseason he was just 87 out of over 3,000 nfl players, but come on boss, he wasnt good last year - Boss34
Nobody said he wasn't good his numbers say he was middle of the pack or below average (deep ball)a lot of what I have seen posted said he had things he needed to improve on and things to clean up, you can tell he put the hard work in, and hope he keeps it up cause we need him.

I am enjoying the ride
That doesn’t mean i can’t point out that Allen looked confused in the 2nd half & didn’t play well - jdfitz77
Allen actually threw for more yards in the second half and had pretty much the same completion percentage
His o-line fell apart (Donald will do that to you)
I wish he would have taken off and ran a few times to get the Rams to keep a man in the box to spy him, it would have helped the receivers especially after Brown went down
Antti Rantta? He's got one year left on his deal with a cap hit of $4.25M, but his actual salary is only $2M due to Arizona having paid his $2M bonus already.
Trade for Rantta and then send Hutton somewhere for future considerations.

He threw for 75% 2 tds and 170 yards in the 2nd half. That’s pretty nice in my books.. Oline was great in the first half, not great in the 2nd half which led to some rushed throws and sacks. Penalties hurt a lot too. I just watched the two best QBs in the world go three and out. Mahommes missed his receiver on 3rd down by more than 10 yards and Jackson followed that up by throwing for 1 yard in 3rd and 5 and almost getting his receiver killed. No QBs perfect. I once saw a hof qb throw 4 ints in a half (the same as Josh has thrown in the last 16 games) only to lead his team back to victory in the 2nd Half. Jim Kelly vs Cincinnati

Well, the so called " cap" is, as of now, going to happen for 2 reasons. They don't know what the NHL will be like next year and going forward with revenue and the cap, so they want to make sure they can add and still have room and stay competitive.
Second thing is Dahlin, they want to make sure they can pay him and not break the bank, with this covid thing Pegula is nervous, my uncle's friend with the Sabres hasn't been paid since June, if that tells you anything.
There are players they are looking at to bring in and also if they do, how will it effect the cap for years to come. They like Laine and still have interest in Monahan and also Toffoli, Tanner Pearson, Bobby Ryan and a few others along with a a couple D men. Laine is a big topic for them.
They like the goalies for now and don't know how smart it would be to pay a big name when they have Ullmark and 6K coming up, not saying they won't but as of now, no.

I don't hate the idea of Bobby Ryan depending on the contract of course
I think every GM should be concerned about the cap considering nobody knows what the NHL will look like (fans or no fans).
The Dahlin thing makes sense, but as of right now he hasn't shown he is worthy of a max term big money contract. I would bridge him and then his new contract would be after the NHL gets back to normal

All of that makes logical sense.
Thanks for the info.
Hopefully they do look for a short term (even if it’s a one year) upgrade in goal because Hutton is not that guy.

87 out of 3,000 plus is better than middle of the pack.
1,500 is middle of the pack
1,600 is slightly below average
You have been reasonable thru out this allen discussion. You made some good points.
