I’m looking forward to it. Although, with the current situation, talk of restaurants makes me a little sad.
- Dkos

I know, I know.

I see all these folks in tables crowded together in outdoor restaurants and wonder why the heck they need to take such chances.

But have a heart. As I mentioned some while back, it looks like masks will be around for a while (or should be, depending on whether we have someone in the Oval Office who has some semblance of competency), and immune responses are seemingly increasingly ephemeral, but the sheer scale of the scientific effort and the natural evolution of the virus towards weaker strains makes me hopeful we need to just get through 2021, prolly with the help of booster shots.

See y'all in a few days with #10.

He is just being flamboyant, dude. If you really think he is gloating, I suggest you eat more red meat , for you are iron(y) starved.

I personally prefer it to the endless discussions about who will be our 4th line center next year, a group of discussion I collectively put under the hat of "variations on the theme of ineffectual loserdom."

Also, my list of best culinary secrets of Philly is almost ready (hopefully next week), so I have a vested interest in speaking up for, cough, tasteful digressions.

Yeah it is weird, that on a hockey message board. You know during the offseason to discuss the only open positions the team we all follow (or most of us) has open. Strange. So strange.

Yeah its coming. Just keep forgetting and get into other stuff. Warning though: ain't doing sandwiches and stuff. Because first, everyone has their favorites in every street, and second, because with social media and things, anything remotely that kind of food gets so much coverage that its not esoteric any more.

Most of my list will be foreign: Colimbian, Greek, Georgian (as in the Caucasus), Russian, French, Colombia, Indonesian,Italian and Indian.

I think I will do a countdown, actually.

How can you do a countdown when you're leaving hockeybuzz? Yea, a countdown will be better to soothe your attention seeking narcissistic behavior.

Simply because they're not taking much of a chance. It is safer outdoors than indoors. Spoken like a true clueless far left liberal who blames Trump but couldn't possibly back it up. I applaud Gov. DeSantis of Florida who just lifted restaurant Covid restrictions.

Yeah no. And what would it matter? If you listened and followed the swami you’d be up $400 as of this minute

Or just a screen shot showing he made these bets and the amounts. Or maybe he’s betting $20 a game or not at all ....

Well poopty Kansas couldn’t get in end zone at end of game as clock runs out. But it’s ok we will always take a push. 2-0-1 for the day and up $400. Naysayers get on board tomorrow and get you some $$$. It’s not that hard. And I usually don’t place 3 bets in a day but needed to show the naysayers how it’s done. Good night folks and happy dreams of all those $100 bills

Food over politics. Everyone loves food. Everyone hates politicians.

Far easier to find common ground about chow.

Don't give yourself a silly nickname and maybe more will be willing to talk bets with you. I have to admit, I find you mildly amusing. But, small wagers are for shallow pockets. I don't bet in a few hundred. Put your big boy pants on and show me what you're made of, kid.

Ofc I want G to step up and contribute more in the playoffs. Not gonna argue that point. But Pavelski and Giroux are very different types of players. Pavelski has been a better goal scorer. It’s what he does. Giroux is a set up man without a sniper to feed. Other than brief moments like with Jagr, he’s never really been given the right tools for the job. It’s like handing a mechanic a hammer to change spark plugs. Here, kid. This is a fine hammer. How come you can’t get the job done?

Generally I only bet 1 game a day sometimes 2 if I really like a line. Usually I bet a few hundred per game early in week. If I hit I go big later in the week. I get paid or have to pay at $1000 at end of week or total rolls over to the next week. last week I ended up $2500. So I got paid. Now I’m up $400 so I have lots of play as to how I bet for rest of week. My budget isn’t high enough for big boy bets. I got teenager pants. Lol
