He never answer mine so why bother.
He is unattainable. Not an option in any way. So what holes do you think would be created if they did acquire him? Me i don't see any that would be created
It is possible the blues would retain some no? Or is that outlandish? There are ways to cut cost in other areas; then again no team can find ways to make moves to clear cap space. I know what ways give an example right? Round and round. - login
Problem is you act as if this is NHL 20 where you can make any trade you want. In real life you cant just make a trade.
1) STL has to be willing to part with Bozak
2) PHI needs to be on his acceptable destination trade list
3) We need to give something of equal value to STL that they want
4) The deal needs to make sense cap wise. You cant just make the move and expect to make room later. That puts you in a hole that other GMs can take advantage of when you are desperately trying to shed cap.
5) We have to now replace the player we dealt to STL in our lineup.
You are just saying trade for player X with no specifics. It would be like me saying trade for McDavid. Its the GMs job to figure out how to do it. Do you see how ridiculous that is?

draft pick wont create any holes. A prospect wont create any hole. - login
Okay. So what draft picks/prospects do you think the Flyers should trade that would get Bozak back in return? And how the hell are we adding his $5M cap hit and not exceeding the cap? |

I’m not even sure how to answer this with all the contradictions.
No holes will be created in trading for a player that is unattainable. Ways to cut cost without ways to do so. Interesting. - Peter Richards
clearly you have no sense of sarcasm. Move along now.
so what holes would be created if you traded for him in your opinion? Since you seem to think there would be what hole is that? |

Why does STL want prospect or pick? They arent rebuilding. They are trying to win the Cup again. |

All you do is go round and round. Bottom line is if both parties are open for a deal it can be made.

Yes. By others logic. I think a couple picks will make it all work as well. Not worried about anything else. |

I think Bozak is the type of guy with a 1 year contract that the Flyers could use as a safety blanket for NoPa.
It just doesn't work with the cap. After the Flyers sign all of the RFA's and Elliot they will have $1-1.5mil left over if they are lucky.
Blues eat $2.5mil of Bozak. Flyers still need to find someone that makes $1mil or so to trade.
Of course we could trade Ghost and take back Bozak and something else. I was hoping for more of a return on Ghost.
Bozak is a trade deadline pick up if the Flyers get him. |

Well you answer was no holes. No players on the roster would have to go. Just picks or prospects. But as I stated and others pointed out as well. His cap hit is 5 mil. How do you fit that under the cap?
Even trading prospects or picks create holes. Not directly to the line up immediately but it does.
Even if they retain 50 percent. Still would be over the cap. |
