They were already posted. Patrick if healthy, Laughton, putting Giroux back at center, trying Frost. All before trading for Bozak.

Most fourth line players are a dime a dozen. No matter how good Betts was with in his role, he was never going to be Rod Brind’Amour. I’m not even gonna begin to make such a comparison but I do believe depth, most importantly the fourth line will make or break a team, regardless of the talent you may have in your top six.

There is only so many spots available in the 12 forward lineup. If they don’t trade JVR, he is number 7, and if you assume at least one of Lindblom, Patrick or Frost plays, that is 8. What do you think of Raffl, Laughton and NAK. Two of those are on the 4th line. What element are you thinking of adding to those? Or are you not thinking that they are good in a 4th line role?

They can't be the backbone of the team like Paul Ranheim and Kent Mandervilel were. Manderville's 2 season scoring drought was a huge part of their success in the 90s.

Vets are always needed on any teams. Especially one like ours with so many young guys. Why do you think we traded for two last season? All about attrition.
