I mean.... It's a gut feeling from Rossi about Dumo. Kind of hard to take that seriously.

He was and did and also said it in the Athletic. However he made it a point to say it was just a hunch he had and he had no sources telling him this. Is logic was Dumoulin would vet the best return and be the biggest change GMJR might make. Decide what you will about that logic. - Tojo.
Rossi hasn't been right in years. He makes poop up all the time. |

I’m not a fan of jr or sully anymore but it will be interesting to see the next domino. I could see dumo and petts going.

Nah. I’m cool with this trade if JJ is off the roster. I will then approve of it then. But until I see it, there’s no reason to be giddy. - j.boyd919
I agree with this. I have this gut feeling that JJ will be traded with Murray in the near future. I also have a feeling JR is going to complete another trade in the next few days. |

I hope it's just moving JJ with Murray and calling it a career. |

The irony, of another paper pusher calling out paper pushers - Guile
Wrong. Never pushed paper in my life, and don’t daydream about being general manager of a NHL team. I always dreamt of scoring the goal in game 7 and that dream died a long time ago. Grow up. |

Not sure if anyone here uses carbon steel pans, but I just got on that bandwagon and man they're amazing. A quick and smokey first seasoning, but way better than cast iron and far less maintenance. |

Yeah, I don't dream of being a player or a GM. I have realistic goals that I achieve while laughing at people such as yourself.

It’s more that he just makes a ton of trades so sometimes he gets lucky. - Feds91Stammer
I completely agree...he gambles with no end game other than destroying his own roster. It's mystifying. Maybe Letang will be changing his mind about leaving. |

God I'm so tired of the cherry picked stats from RW. He won't even post his SKATR chart or his transition charts because he has to cherry pick the ones that support his bias.
It doesn't mean Matheson is great, just be fair with all data that's out there.
And won't even ackowledge that this could be setting up for getting rid of Jack Johnson which we know would be an eruption of semen he's been holding in for 2 years. |

I never seen Matheson play. How did he get that good if a contract if he wasn't decent? Does he hit? Can he distribute the puck? Run the powerplay? |

So this is looking like Tanev at 3RW and Sceviour at 4RW. Even though this trade didn't involve C. Tanev, a Tanev fetish might have still been a factor.
Well, we still need a 3C or a 3LW and no money left to get one. I'm assuming that Jarry and Simon will eat up the remaining $5.3M or close to it. I guess Poulin it is.
Poulin - McCann - Tanev
Simon - Blueger - Sceviour
I had such higher hopes...
Also, we just added salary while getting rid of the one big movable contract we had. So, JJ goes with Murray and then we sign C. Tanev to about $3.5M for 5 years?? I mean, it has to match B. Tanev's salary and term because they're brothers, right? |

Why pick up bottom 6 spare part garbage piece on top of Matheson?... What the fvck is going on here? Hahaha |
|
|
|
Also... He complains that Matheson won't help on the power play because we use 4 forwards. Umm yeah cause our power play is SO GOOD we shouldn't change anything about it.
A 3rd pairing powerplay specialist defenseman for a 3rd line power play specialist.
I think I'm almost as annoyed with RW as he is towards GMJR. |

They're beasts. They're kind of the internet fad, but they're used widely in restaurants. They build a great non-stick surface after the initial seasoning and more you use it. The big advantage with carbon steel is they don't need the same level of up-keep of cast iron and you can cook acidic foods with no problem.
There's a lot of cheap one flying around internet, but after research the brand I landed on is De Buyer. Avoid the ones from China (I'll be waiting on Feds' joke here). They're lighter and garbage. |

You guys are abysmal. None of you have any real idea about the “value” of any of these players. Ryan Wilson least of all. The Dallas Stars are one of the last two teams standing right now. I bet you guys could find something wrong with every player and every contract on that team. Either wrap the rope around your neck and jump or shutup. I’d sooner shoot your high horses and make a fine meal out of them than join you. - Grinder47

I think it was Yohe in his mailbag article the other day (could be wrong) that said the most likely way for JJ to be moved is to be attached to Murray. The fact beat writers are printing that makes me think there is a slight (small as it may be) chance he could go.

Jim Rutherford on all the left-handed defensemen: "Someone is going to have to play on the right side. ... Something will have to give." - MattStrat
I'm going to assume this is just GM-speak during the waning days of the pre-draft/FA period. But, then again, JR seems to be a mad scientist who is losing his grip on reality. |
