Best thing for Vancouver might actually be someone giving Markstrom a big offer. Gets them off the hook with the fan base for not over paying him and lets them go with arguably the better goaltender. I would rather bet on Demko.

I kind of agree with this. I really like Markstrom but I just can't see how they can afford him and then possibly lose him or Demko to Seattle. Not sure if Demko is exempt but either way Demko will cut into Markstrom's playing time and every goalie wants to play as many games as possible. Canuck fans love Marky and certainly would undertand not matching a gigantic offer if it comes.
