It makes no difference who the Pens get when JJ is there. This is not a slight to Ruhwedel, but when JJ negatively impacts Letang, you're better off spending the league minimum on Ruhwedel than going out for some middle-rung 3rd pairing dmen if the results will be poor no matter what.

Yeah fair enough. My comment literally above the last one has the same sentiment. I just don’t get how the FO allows this. If the whole world can see it how don’t they.

I hate political talk as much as most but I cannot imagine how awful the country would be in 4 years after a Biden/Harris term?! (As an aside I’m Registered independent)

I was a registered independent too. I just can't believe how far left the democrats went.

What are the chances that JR is overplaying his hand with regard to Murray? I think there will be a limited number of suitors with a lot of available goalies so I hope he strikes a deal soon.

Anybody who has seen the wickedness of dementia, knows Joe Biden won't be president in two years if elected. I don't even think he has a year, but they'll likely hide him for a while. His decline is rapid. Slurred speech. Barely coherent sentences. A doctor would take his drivers license away with the symptoms he's presenting. It's quite sad his family didn't intervene and put a stop to it.

It will be a Harris, AOC administration.

He prob should of traded him when he had a chance instead of holding out. Oh well, guess we will see.

I said it when pitt was eliminated, just like the previous year when jr said big change was coming and nothing much happened, I don’t think much will happen this year. Got kap, will have to trade a goalie, prob get one or 2 fa signings and that’s about it. All a waste of energy though.

Hide him for a while? They've been hiding him like crazy during the campaign lol. Granted I've seen it with my grandma, but the extreme bad days mixed with the good days is crazy to watch, the fact that they've chosen this guy is bananas to me. Harris has already admitted by accident the "harris administration with the support of Biden."

(frank) AOC. That chick sucks ass.

Oh God that’s frightening, AOC is an abomination! Her IQ should have been tested prior to her being nominated. It’s scary that the current climate in the country is Republican, Trump or Marxism...dang awful.

This is a joke, right? The dichotomy has shifted to the right; GOP is more to the right, Dems are more central.

I can guarantee you, Biden is not looked at as a true progressive in any shape, form, or facet. Keep in mind these are the same people trying to tell you RBG was progressive. (news flash; she wasn't.)

AOC and Harris are the same person. Same ideology. The only difference is AOC never lies about her love of marxism. Harris simply lies about it.

I'm Canadian so not my fight, but please God let Trump get elected again. He has been poopty to Canada but the democratic party has gone so far off the rails, the US might collapse if he doesn't win. And that is not good for us Canadians.

Also, F China, Trump might be a Richard but its about time someone had the balls/brains to go aftwr them.

Diasgree. Harris was a prosecuting attorney. Also, Sanders and AOC represent the left wing, not Biden and Harris. I consider them moderates. I also consider Trump and Pence the far, far right wing. IMHO.

I respectfully disagree. Harris is very much in that AOC/Omar/Sanders camp. Agreed she’s a compulsive liar, and doesn’t offer any positive views imho. I also don’t see Trump as far right. He’s very much US first, but it’s needed as the US hasn’t had a good president in my lifetime back to Carter (who was abysmal).

Holy (frank) you're racist. Harris and AOC have nothing in common outside of a D next to them. Harris is a former AG who kept an innocent man in prison to further her career. She is a mainstream neoliberal centrist and has been in politics for decades and is married to a multi-millionnaire. She is epitome of system dem and only Biden had more billionaire donors of the candidates.

AOCs schtick is young, single. common worker who beat the system dem. - no AG history, not part of dem politics for decades, no billionaire donors.

Both are annoying as (frank) however.

I'm obviously on the outside looking in up here north of your border....but... I'm not even there and I'm a little uneasy about what will happen if either party wins...and one of them has to win.

You guys look extremely, hatefully divided, is that the media (on both sides) sensationalizing things or are you guys feeling this in your every day lives?

We're getting fairly divided up here too but not to the extremely....yet anyways.

Divided populations are easier to control and manipulate. I feel we all have a lot more in common than we don't.

To me, from all the different medias and things I read, this appears to me as a right wing fear monger subject. Just like in Canada, the right push financial fears (among others) and the left push social issue fears (among others). What do you base this statement on as a fellow Canadian?

There's a ton of that going on right now. I don't watch a lot of TV lately, but the moat recent Trump ads are dramatizations of people calling 911 and nobody being able to answer if Biden is elected.

Personally I think Trump is a little extra as far as stirring up fears and then saying only he can protect us from the bogeymen, but that's about all American political campaigns are these days, stir up fears about the other side. I guess maybe Trump is better at it would be another way of putting it.

Of course 5 years of Democrats saying you have to vote for them because Trump is immoral and you are too if you vote for him completely misses the boat.

But yeah, the whole fear thing got ratcheted up a ton with RBG's death since the Supreme Court drives a ton of people's votes. And I agree with the idea it's going to be so much worse immediately after the election.
