Pietrangelo and Dahlin would destroy the nhl but I don't want to have 20 million dollars on the blue line
But im pretty sure we will give Pietrangelo the highest offer |

Big Z Zadorov
Risto +?
for
Ehlers - IonSabres
Ristolainen & 8th overall for Ehlers & 10th overall
Is that close? How much more would the Sabres need to add? |

I was thinking about how well Kessel and Rob Ray would get along. The commercial almost writes itself. |

Risto and a top 10 protected 2021 first rounder for Ehlers.
They can then use that first rounder and package it to Montreal for Danault |

I doubt that is nearly enough for Ehlers. |

Idk what it would cost, but the sabres should be all in trying to acquire OEL and kessel from the yotes. Ekman-Larsson is underrated in my book.
I'm assuming it will start with the 8th overall, which I'm fine with. Probably would need a 2021 lottery protected 1st as well. |

The guy is a buffoon, I stopped listening when they did their first interview with Dahlin after he was drafted. Two idiots in my book |

Looking at Ellers underlying numbers, I really want the sabres to bring him in for the 3rd line. |

I was with Larkin until this The return for Danault in a trade would surely be significant, just as it was for O’Reilly,. Quantity doesn't make the return massive. It was a first, 2nd and the tall guy.
Those two stumble bums were nothing more then cap relief to make the trade work and save the Pegulas 7.5M. I still think Bots was forced into that trade as the clock ticked away to midnight.
The other part is Danault does not have the offensive upside of ROR. So I give a 2020 2nd and a protected 2021 1st. No way I part with 8OA - Leninthebuff
Agree.
But if they could package Okposso with Mitts /Tage to dump that contract would be great.
Never glide g to happen, but then it would more closely rival the ROR deal. |

Ok not fake but definitely wouldn’t say it’s anything more than another tool. Some goalies or players may have good stats for 20 nhl games but that doesn’t necessarily mean over 82 games the same would be the case. One may say this is expected or assumed production but that would be a 50/50 guess at best. When I see stats are the only tool used to make an argument or point that leads me personally to believe the big picture is missed. - Camel
Isn't that what Expected Goals (xG) does? Combines shot quality with shooter's actual Shot Percentage? |

This guy has some of the worst takes, but figured I'd share (if it hasn't been shared already)...
Per NHLTradeRumours...
The Arizona Coyotes have put up the for sale sign and the Buffalo Sabres are interested. The 'Yotes made it known to the rest of the league, if someone on their roster interests you and is over the age of 25, please call them to let them know. Turns out the Sabres have called and it's been about Phil Kessel.
One problem, does Phil Kessel even want to play in Buffalo? With some trade protection, Buffalo is likely on the no-fly list for Kessel as he doesn't seem like the type who would want to leave Arizona to play somewhere like Buffalo.
The Sabres are trying regardless to acquire the sniper, according to a rival league executive. Their latest offer included defensive prospect Oskari Laaksonen and a 2nd-round pick. - Powerslave
