Clearly dahlin has offensive skill, but I thought he lacked overall defensive awareness.
He was only 19 years old 🤔 - Boss34
I think Dahlin is easily the most talented D man we have ever had
I would like to see him used more to grow in lost seasons, not have his ice time reduced in year 2 |

he was killing penalties on a regular basis for a team that was in the upper half for pk
soccer man refuses to give dahlin ice time on the pk in a lost season - navinrjohnson

2 years after being considered the best defenseman possibly ever drafted. He has talent, but not more than phail lousley. Not proven yet.
I expect big things from dahlin.
4 goals = not good

Dahlin is not great or on the verge of greatness - Boss34

I would grab James Neal if the Oilers buy him out. |

I’d agree with that one! Nothing long term of course. I’ll take Neal over Phil all day! |

Oh, this week makes up for 2 years of bad takes?
I havent been around, canoeing with out wifi.
Has flaccoville conceded yet?
Or has he seen enough of allen , to know he'll never be "elite "

Bad takes??? I guess you have low standards for a franchise qb.

He's a young qb. What did you expect. He was the 3rd qb picked 2 years ago.
It takes time. He has played really well for 2 years now. Right under your nose.
How great has dahlin been? I do not agree that he has been great. But, everyone else agrees according to you.
Dahlin has been good. At best.
Look at makar, heskinen, hughes and hedman.

He completed 22% of his deep passes last year.
This year so far he’s up to a 60% deep ball completion percentage.
Quite the developmental curve that I don’t think most people expected. Allen went from not being able to hit the side of a barn with a football to looking like Steve Young in the matter of months.
Acquiring Diggs seems to be what the doctor ordered for Josh.
Now if he continues to hit the deep ball at an average rate and continues to play mistake free football over the course of the rest of the season I’ll be more than happy to say you were right.
The Bills winning because of Allen, and not despite Allen and just riding an elite defence can make the Bills a very dangerous football team.

Add Neal and Clifford and you have 2 lines with players that have that edge and toughness this team sorely lacks. |

I would like a Clifford-Lazar-Okposo 4th line granted they don’t play more than 10 minutes a night at even strength.
Clifford could help out the PK.

We should roll 4 lines more often, give guys like that a chance to fire up the team. That's one thing the Knights do with Reeves, Nosek and Carrier. |

Nice to see such a big change in your opinion, after 1 game.
Sorry to see lock get broken.
Still think lock and allen are parallels? |

I don’t know what to think about Lock. Some good and some bad.
I haven’t really seen anything that makes me think he’s the guy moving forward however he’s only played 6 full games.
He’ll have a chance to come back in a few weeks and finish off the back half of the schedule and we’ll see what happens. |

Exactly ..... that’s kind of important to his development. Notice how Allen went from being a “mobile” qb with arm strength to elite. (In 2 games so far this year)
Hitting that deep ball and improving that accuracy is huge.
And the reason why I was so critical is because you want an elite QB and not be stuck with Andy dalton for 10 years
Again. I have high expectations and don’t want dalton type qb

Josh so far looks like a completely different QB, albeit it’s been 2 games.
I think the team having success and the fact that he is obviously a guy who makes it easy to root for had fans believing in him for much of the past two years even though the numbers showed a middle of the pack QB with severe accuracy issues.
Like I just said to Boss, if what we have seen the last two weeks is a sign of things to come then congratulations and enjoy the next few years of Bills football.

The Sabres interest in Pietrangelo is very real, from the coach to the GM to the owner, but are they really, truly willing to offer Pietrangelo the deal it would take to get him to sign?
A 7 year $63M total deal, with it front loaded where he makes say $10M-$11M his first 2-3 seasons with $8M-$9M of that in bonus money? I have my doubts, and that's not even considering if that's a wise idea with how many RHD's they already have, especially if the reports are accurate that they aren't going to trade Ristolainen. |
