Botterill wasn’t good. I don’t get why you think I want to champion him. He was bad. I didn’t think he was getting fired, and thought some of the criticism was weird, but he was t good.

B. The negativity is clear and to the point. They put a bandaid on a wound for a season. With an aging player who’s clearly not thrilled he was traded.

Some of you are way too easily satisfied, which is exactly what the Pegula’s love.

The first thing you do when you're bleeding. Stop the bleeding. Then you can evaluate from there. Adams stopped the bleeding, for now at least.

Simply just his salary and production. But I'd imagine they move him if someone offers something unreal they cant pass up on.

I think I’d go after Pietrangelo. (frank) it, why not.

Get totally crazy.

It would probably get 55 out

- sbroads24

I like him but I don't think IMO that makes sense for us to go grab him, the Leafs will overpay.

someone mentioned hearing his name...but you're right, he's exactly the type of player they need to keep
- Michael Pachla

No. Not for 8. Maybe lotto protected 2021. It’d be a fun discussion. But with a new gm in place, it’ll be interesting in how fast he moves.

Not really. But LA might sign 1 dman. But are def after a LD more than RD atm. but if prices are right. Who knows what they will do. They have more system depth on LD. But top 2 rd are kind of set it looks.

I dont really think so. Unless his price was very cheap. With Walker signed. They are probably content. Only thing they have to think about is either signing Hutton to an extension or hitting FA market for a replacement.

The St. Louis Blues have reportedly advised Alex Pietrangelo to test free agency, according to TSN's Darren Dreger.
Contract talks between the Blues and their captain have apparently broken off. St. Louis only has $5.1 million in cap space and they also have to re-sign restricted free agency Vince Dunn. The Blues have taken a bizarre approach to this negotiation, as they've given extensions Brayden Schenn, Justin Faulk and Marco Scandello ahead of Pietrangelo. According to beat reporter Jeremy Rutherford, the Blues are offering him $7.7 million per year, but they expected him to accept their offer without him knowing the financial structure of the deal. The 30-year-old had one goal and six points in nine postseason games and 52 points in 70 regular season contests. There's a good chance he'll get the biggest contract on the free-agent market.

not in their system...

kings have four d-men signed for next season and some good ones in the hopper with a big gap between 30-yr. old doughty and some real good d-prospects in anderson and bjornfort...they also have a ton of talent up-front, which will get that much more stronger when they draft byfield, and they have a buttload of picks...

where they're weak is on defense right now...depends upon what they want to do this season and near future but montour would fit right in and wouldn't cost more than a draft pick or two...maybe a second and third?

Garland and Hjalmarsson, I was told that Adams and Sullivan had talked, but that Sullivan was a big key, and that hammer dropped the other day.

They were talking to move the 1st for Monahan but I didn't hear anything regarding the Yotes. I have a feeling as the draft day get's here and if the player or players go off the board they want, we may see a deal.

55 will be out in two years...pietrangelo has a lot of miles on him and he'll probably be looking at a max contract which will take him into his mid-latter 30's
