Fair enough. I heard the owner was shedding salary. - golfingsince
Shedding salary as far as possibly/likely to let Dadonov and/or Hoffman walk, but not just shedding salary as in trading for picks/prospects.

Numbers 10-14 Friedman spoke with new GM Zito.
Many seem to have heard Zito said, “I’ll listen to anything.”, but didn’t hear him finish, “but I’ll say no to almost everything.” |

Big rumour out there to help Vegas get some cap relief. MAF coming to Buffalo for Hutton. - Camel
Would MAF wave to come here?
Also MAF, Eric staal, and who else could we get to create a great mid 2000 team in 2020 lol
Not hating on either. I just find it funny that terry is getting players he likes and Kim approves |

Krebs would be a dream, but the others should be in the conversation if they want to move that contract, does it happen maybe not, there has to be some kind of price to take on that contract. - Buff36
From here on out you're going to hear all kinds of crazy trades offers, MAF is not coming here and they haven't made any decisions on him yet. Why go after MAF, if they go the goalie route there are younger options. I don't see much difference between Demko and Ullmark. |

I do not want MAF, just going of what people have said, the only way I would touch him is if a nice piece was added coming back. Well I would love Demko and if Markstrom resigns he would be my target, especially with them having DiPietro in the waiting. |

There are a number of goaltending options out there that don't necessitate bringing in one that has a $7M cap hit and an actual salary of $6M or more for 2 more seasons. |

Hoffman was the exact type of player I though of FLA getting rid of when I mentioned including another player.
As Vancouver i'd start with Boeser, JV , LE's contract and a 1st. |

All they would have to do to get rid of Hoffman is let him walk as a UFA, right? Same with Dadonov. |

That would surprise me a little, just considering their need for a 2C of the future (NHL ready ASAP). Many people think Quinn is gonna be a star, though.
I have no clue what the new GM may do. |

He played 1 game I believe, and that was a emergency call up, he just turned 20 I believe and he ended up going on a 12-0 run after he went back down. |

Vegas would only do this deal if it gives them enough room to pitch for Pietrangelo. Won’t hold a dime. |

Then there better be a decent piece coming back with him, or why would Buffalo do that deal. |

For me, they’re 1st would need to be included. Then possibly use that 1st to have someone take Okposo off our hands. 2 yrs of MAF with being owed $12.5 over the next two years is worth not having Okposo’s cap hit on the books an extra year (He’s only owed $11 mil as his $3 bonus was already paid this year). If you can find someone to dump Hutton off on after, that’d be a bonus. |

The Coyotes really are going to have a fire sale. No picks in the first 3 rounds. 6.3M in cap space (Hossa LTIR inc) and they need four forwards and a D. Not even sure how last year's LTIR affects their cap. |

MAF and a first for a 6th rd pick and the rights to Pilut
then flip Okposo and that first for a 5th

Yeah, something would definitely have to be included to make that deal. I don't know if there 1st would be included, but they do have some good prospects I wouldn't mind seeing. |

He and Jessie have split. That information just hasn't been made public yet.
