Anyone worried that the Bills' top two linebackers aren't playing tomorrow? It would seem they would have a different D game plan and also run the ball more on offense more to kill clock and keep the D off the field as much as they can.

They won't give up pick 8 for the privilege of paying a 5 mil bonus and a 1 mil salary the next two years with a 6.8 mil cap hit before he is an UFA not to mention he can't play D either.

Looking at Ellers underlying numbers, I really want the sabres to bring him in for the 3rd line.

Yes I see that but I just feel there is absolutely no way to determine this accurately or even close. I like the old fashion way of a scout rating players based on what they see. It’s just me because I compare this sports analytics thing to judging a figure skater or a boxing match. Sometimes their right and sometimes their wrong.
To make a statement based solely on analytics could be right and could be wrong.

Arizona already paid the $5M bonus due for this upcoming season, which means Kessel would cost a total of $1M for this upcoming season, then a $5M bonus before the 21-22 season after, and a $1M salary for that 21-22 season.

I believe Ehlers has been playing RW. That said, I'd absolutely trade Olofsson in a package for Ehlers.

I'd rather trade Montour for forward help, and go looking for cost effective options at defense.

The bold above is what makes GM's wait until the 3rd round to draft players like Brayden Point, because they can see he isn't a big guy and he didn't skate that well, despite skating being one of the top aspects a player can improve upon when becoming a pro.

He's athletic, young, and if he's that young and calling all the plays on D that is something and I'd rather him in there then not.

Still very young, but he still has things he needs to improve, hits the wrong gap a lot.
