They don’t really need to do much honestly, they were one of the better teams this season and almost everyone is already signed except two RFA’s, Myers and Patrick. I think they’ve got 8 million in cap room, 12 when they trade Gostisbehere, plus their prospect pool is full of good young talent.

Like many before him, we continually place players into the lineup, who have done very little to prove they are nhl calibre.
Gaunce, Shinkaruk, Rathbone, White, Polasek, Sauve, Rathbone, Palmu, etc.

Hoglander has a ton of skill, not sure it will equate into a position on Canucks, but sure hope so.

IMHO also time for the team to evolve and not be so reliant on their goaltender. Love Marky but if he is looking for AAV, term and expansion draft protection then the team needs to move on. Build up the defense and sign a 2 year mentor for Demko...who is the right age to grow and develop with the rest of the core.
