5mil 4 years is the highest for me but I am not the GM

I would honestly like a 2 year deal because they have 2 decent goalies in the
system

- VANTEL

Sure. But if both were signed for 2 years, there would definitely be another 'goaltending controversy' at some point.

Before the tournament started, I wanted the Lightning (or Jets - that didn't last long).

Now, I wouldn't mind if Gagliardi wins the cup if only so he can bring it to the Aquilini Group head office. He better be careful though, Frankie might try to steal it.

- RealityChecker

God no, if that happens Aquilini will be trying to keep everyold ass player like Dallas has. They’re one of the oldest teams in the league.

Sounds like a Sens type of trade - what prospects would be worth taking on that contract?

We are in a good position with Demko as the backup and DiPietro learning the craft with the comets, couple that with the number of free agent goalies hitting the market.

What's your realistic offer for Marky?

i'd say 4.75/4

- dbot

That's Realistic???????
Markstrom will get at least $30M guaranteed on his next contract.

William Nylander is the type of play-making winger Horvat needs as a shoot first center, much like Matthews, I wonder if we can send some garbage their way for him?

It would cost a lot of prospects to do it. It is not something I would explore.

Reading they want Alex Pietrangelo bad, so they need to shed salary...#opportunityknocks

The Blues’ current offer is $7.7 million AAV, but Pietrangelo has been asked to accept the AAV without knowing the structure of the deal. #stlblues

Apparently he wants more, Leafs will give it to him.

Heard that too but there will still be a bidding war and teams like Buff Det Ott and Habs will be all over it.

Looks like a quiet off season for Philly no cap room and some big contracts.
