Carol Schram: Trade Boeser for Dumba? It could make sense for the Canucks
When the Minnesota Wild signed Jonas Brodin to a long-term contract extension on Tuesday, it triggered another round of speculation that defenseman Matt Dumba could be on the move. The Canucks have often been rumoured to have interest, and could have a piece in Brock Boeser that the Wild would covet.
I think Minnesota will want a center in return for Dumba. I could see Minnesota doing something like this if no one else bites, but I don't think it will be their first choice.
That sign BLM made me think how poor a job the NHL has done of continuing the message. I figured it would be a one and done message , and I think I am not far off. There was mention that one of the Dallas Star players made a racial slur against a Vegas player who was not white after the series.
I think Naomi Osaka has been a much better leader as far as a messenger. Every match she provided a message and even after the US Open was still sending the message.

if Voracek was 8 years younger maybe... but now? - bloatedmosquito
The +'s were the more importants parts...what they are I don't know. The Flyers have depth at all positions and still have some pretty nice prospects in the pipeline yet to come.
I just think if Boeser was available he would be a shooter on the right side that could help them and I'm sure the Flyers have enough to get him without overpaying.

We need youth, defence, and draft picks. You got anything like that?
Maybe the Canucks could do better than Dumba with a Boeser deal for a Dman if a package was made. - boonerbuck
I didn't mean to suggest the deal would necessarily be 1-for-1, as they say.
The fact that the Wild may *need* to move Dumba weakens their bargaining position a bit, which I think is part of what would make them an appealing trade partner for another GM...

JRYAN88:
Agree trading for Dumba who has less points than Edler don't make a whole lot of sense. Boeser is one of JB's gems as far as picks go I highly doubt he goes anywhere.
