Did Detroit draft yet? LA will trade Cal Peterson, Alex Turcotte, and a 2nd round pick for #4 overall. Not bad. Gives Detroit a potential #1 goalie and potential #1C .

LA will then draft Askarov. They read Ek's post today and got super excited.

Let me know. Kooleus.

How did you develop this impression?

Interviews and watching all of his games - including World Juniors. Scouting reports are all glowing but I see a lack of desire that drops him to 3rd overall. Still a great player, but Stützle wants it more. I can see an argument for Blake taking him over Byfield.
Stutzle can play centre contrary to what all the reports say of him staying on the wing.
He’s a natural NHL style #1 centre driving possession and playing a solid two way game. And he’s only a teen.
Byfield will be a great player but I see Stützle as a superstar. My opinion.

This might be breaking news to you but they are all only teens right now and in fact Byfield is one of the youngest in the draft.

One Kings fan already purchased a Lafreniere jersey during the very confusing draft lottery.

Not surprising. It happens every year.

I think Ek announcing the Kings won the draft lottery caused a window of confusion. Innocent mistake.
