This is my impression. Byfield seems to lack motivation and consistency. He can become more consistent as he matures but the motivation aspect is baffling for a top-3 pick. How does one go about learning the drive to win the Cup?

Put it this way, if LA took Stutzle - which by all accounts they should, and I was in charge of Ottawa, I’d be taking Rossi all day long.








PS. Anaheim is open for trades (if allowed) and willing to move up and down. Acquiring more 1sts and or draft picks is a priority.

Zuccarello could be one of the most ill advised free agent signings I have ever seen, and to throw a NMC on top of it knowing full well an expansion draft was coming

I repeat again: trades can be discussed and proposed in your blog, but the pick has to be made by the team in that draft position.
