You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. If you let him go because he's going to be "broken" in two years and useless, you lose a 30ish goal scorer on a team starved for goals. If you sign him and he "breaks" people will laugh and talk about how stupid the team is.
Look at what's happening to Stamkos. People are poopting all over him, but if the Lightning had let him go, there's a PPG guy right out the window. |

he's had hand injuries, but I don't think he's had any major injuries that will shorten his career (not yet at least)... it would be sillier imo to trade a guy only because you think he'll get injured... besides, Gallagher at 80% is better than a poopload of other guys, and he deserves a good paycheque |

Habs don’t need any new centers with all the one they have. I don’t think trading Suzuki AND Domi for Malkin fixes any problems. The real problems will be on the wings, replace some of those guys by bigger player that can score goals. |
