I 100% agree about PP, but not the goaltending. Varly made the saves. Tampa is just better. That's the realization. WE ARE IN THE ECF's !!! Did any of you think we'd make it to the SCF's this year ? Now, saying that, we could have been up 2-1 coming into this game, but we weren't. Philly showed heart coming back against us. Let's see how we respond. This is a huge learning point for these guys. Series ain't over, but this whole series is icing on the cake.

I got a bad feeling in the first period when Bailey tried his patented poke check instead of taking the body (which he was doing more of the last game). I'm not blaming the loss on Bailey. But when all or nearly all of Tampa's players are finishing their checks, and guys like Bailey and Eberle don't bother........... Tampa is just too talented. Isles need to ALL show up for every shift to have a chance against the Bolts.

Thinking instead of doing.

Those two goals within 15 seconds were a heart breaker. That seems to happen to us a lot where we give up a quick goal after scoring. But the second one was devastating. You’d think they’d know to prepare for a push but never seem prepared for a counter attack.

Yep good season but disappointed on how it ended. Tampa is obviously a great team but let me see some life. Some emotion throw it around do something. We didn’t have it. 4 unanswered goals there’s no filling that up we’re out of steam.

Too many defensive breakdowns and terrible PP. They have to play perfect at this point and they are not doing it.

Today felt like the Canes series Cpt. No shame in losing to Tampa but should have been a better effort by the Isles. I get you do not want run and gun with Tampa but you need to give yourself a better chance to win. You are not beating most teams with a game like this.

The lack of fight I don’t like. If we lost swinging I’m all for it. The fight wasn’t there to me. They scored a goal and imploded immediately afterward. That’s the story of this game. Nelson scores followed by explosive diarrhea.

Learning is one thing you still need the horses and this is not a young team especially at forward outside of Barzal, Beau, and Pageau. Cannot see an Islander Cup if Eberle is the 1W.

Post game showed Casey getting hit in game 2 and hitting his head but I was toLd it was lower body ?
