He may be in great shape for his age, but he’s lost a step on the ice.
And Chelly sucked for the last 6 years he played - Arctic_AARDVARK
I admit, I legit thought Chara was gonna retire after they lost to Tampa. Surprised he came back.. Chara's not the same anymore either.. The refs just let him get away with everything.

For Chelios I would say the last 3-4 years. I think Boston will treat Chara well, he can have a job with the Bruins for life IMO. Just like Nacho-Eating Cam Neely. Chara was never quick and his ability to cross-check opponents hasn't diminished.
This fall is going to be bad everywhere. Some schools will be closed. Office workers really should still work from home. People waking up with a sore throat will need to be off 2 weeks.

If people are asymptomatic and are working from home, why would they need to be off?

I ain't got a subscription to the Athletic but LeBrun says that Pietrangelo is disappointed that he doesn't have a contract done yet.
Hopefully it continues all the way to free agency. - GreatGigInTheSky
That's what I heard a while back on the SportsNet podcasts. I think Freidman was saying the same thing. Pietrangelo wasn't happy that his contract was dealt with last, wasn't happy with Armstrong's $81.5/23 comments and a host of other things

We will see.
He has a young family and a wife from St. Louis. I think he really wants to stay there but has to pretend he is willing to leave to get the most out of the deal.
My guess is he eventually signs a very team friendly deal in St. Louis. But as always, I'm hoping he somehow finds his way to TO.

I doubt he goes anywhere but St Louis, but if he gets to the point of listening to offers, I would think the elastic band will be coming off the roll of bills for the Leafs and a few other teams.
