to me Weber is a stay at home dman. he doesn't carry the puck like Petry does. yes he gets points but many on the PP. they need a puck moving dman on the left side to play with him imo. and play Chiarot where he should be playing which is on the 2nd pairing.

Weber does a lot of points in regulation. He his there when it’s count. He’s no Karlsson or anything but he’s solid on it’s two way, play against best ennemies line, I mean him Charriot were pretty solid in playoff.

If Edmundson and Petry does the same then it’ll be a great defensive corps if the third duo does good.

It will also reduce Weber/Petry times while having two good duo for PK.

I’d be up for a great offensive LD but I guess it will goes this way for this year. See what Romanov/Kulak/Juulsen et Fleury can bring as 3rd pairing or more
