The key problem for us are the points lost due to injuries, need to get deeper in the forward positions so if we lose a player or two we can still maintain the pace, which has not been the case the past many years

I did say Bergy was gonna sign Edmundson awhile back, it was just a guess that made sense, hopefully he can get him to sign a Chiarot type deal.... what does this mean for Mete? And Kulak?

Bergy might not be done for another D. Unless Juulsen is ready to play again I think he might grab another cheap RD on UFA. There’s a lot available and there might need someone to coach Romanov (if he steal a place) to play with him.

I wonder how much would cost a Vet like Byfuglien 🤔 Bergevin knows him from Chicago. He has lots of experiences, he’s good in playoff. He’s big and shouldn’t ask for huge money. He’d be a perfect menthor for Romanov. Else there’s always guys like Brodie, Tanev or Dillion

Problem is they’ll play 8 to 12mins a game. In playoff we have overuse guys like Petry a Charriot and Weber. Edmundson will help but I still believe we should play 6D instead of 4.
I’m scare a Romanov Fleury combo might make too many mistakes which will reduce their times and overuse the others. Another RD with exp would be great to coach romanov
