The other thing that irritates me is he tries to confuse experienced QBs with his zone blitz and creates his own mismatches in coverage. You have the superior players let them play in your face defense |

Don't know if you guys had a local broadcast team there or the same as I did. Richard Stockton was doing the game. Retirement is calling Richard.
There was around a half dozen plays he called the opposite or something different than what actually happened.
I want to watch the TB vs NO game but I might have to pass on Buck and Aikman and watch the Cincy vs LA game.
Still weird calling the Chargers "LA" and the Raiders "LV". |

There were terrible. They kept contradicting themselves in the analysis |

Wait a season or two - LV will be Oakland again. |

Yeah, we got Stockton too. I read that Albert was supposed to be the announcer, but he would have been required to quarantine upon coming back into the US from Canada. The f**king irony of having to quarantine when coming back from a country that has its head out of its a$$ when it comes to COVID-19 compliance. |

Maybe but it was the first live action so I will wait a bit to see. The kid Jackson looked good. He made a great break on the ball leading to Fuller's INT |

Yep, if the Knights are any indication, the Raiders will be there for a while. |

I have some family that lives in Vegas and the locals have been waiting for pro teams for awhile. They will support their teams. IIRC, the minor league teams that were in Vegas did pretty well. |

Obviously fans check scores other sports as they watch the main attraction, which thus afternoon is the Bears
Trubinsky has not gained more respect from me. He was not good too much of the game. I'm not complaining, though, as they came back to win. The defense is not showing it can shut down. But only first game.
Chicago sports teams will win three out of three games today. Cub's Mills has a no hitter through 7 IP. Cubs are hard to watch though. No one c a n hit for a descent average. Bryant always is getting injured. Maybe let him go. So what if he finally has a big year elsewhere. It will be followed by a couple of injury filled seasons. At $17 mill/season. Or more. Up and coming White Sox are exciting and bound to keep improving. Theo is not so great a GM. He refuses to get a lead off hitter. All he gets is sluggers who also strike out a lot. How about a player with a top batting average. I don't think Lestor has much left - maybe ok for another year or two but it is a gamble. Quintana is hurt often. Cubs need arms coming up from minor league. Not really seeing that. Although Mills has been pleasant surprise.
On the other side of town, Wh Sox have been promoting tons of pitching prosoects. Their bullpen is going to be a difference maker as they challenge for a playoff. If Cubs get in, I expect them to flop first round.
Three more outs and Mills has a no hitter
Update: Mills tosses a no hitter. Three BB though. |

Isn’t a new stadium the main draw of LV? Fandom will be there, sure - but it would have been there in Oakland, too - but without a new playground. |

Yep. From the outside the stadium looks awesome. Was supposed to go for raiders opener but covo-19 pandemic put that off until next year. |

Need two more now.... |

Local 780 was very interesting. Well, Thayer was fine, but Joniak was way off. He talked of how he banged his knee on the table again and was in pain, and also how he spilled vinaigrette sauce on the carpet. Lol |

New stadium seats 8000 more. Plus, it has more of what every team wants. Suites. |

I agree J. Was just goofing on you for the typo. I'm assuming it was a typo. Cracks me up when I hear people calling him Trubinsky. |
