If someone is willing to do the analysis on the teams with the worst D, collectively over the past 10 years I would imagine the Leafs are at the top of the list based on any metrics used.

I would love to trade for Nylander but to me the cost wont make sense. Obviously if you can get him for Ghost and D or G prospect or pick obviously you cant say no to that but I cant see the Leafs doing so.

We dont have a surplus anywhere where we could move a top young guy. If we moved Sanheim, we dont have anyone to step up and play those minutes unless someone is signed via FA.

That's fair - I should have said "projects to be a 40 goal scorer" and was essentially on that pace in the shortened season. In any event, Ghost doesn't get the deal done and Dubas wouldn't give Nylander up for another LD, no matter how talented.

I agree that Dubas would not trade Nylander for Gostisbehere. I also think Dubas is looking for a more established RH defenseman than what the Flyers have. I don't really see a fit for both teams here. I also don't think Dubas is going to be able to get the player he wants for Nylander.

Perhaps the Phandemic Krew can bring a few more drummers and air horns.

No way would there be a Nylander for Ghost + deal. The primary piece would have to revolve around Sanheim or Myers, and I think Philly is probably content on keeping their young defensemen. Sanheim will be tough to pry away. Myers even more difficult.
