That’s why I want Kuhnhackl back in with Pageau and Brassard. Nothing gets Frenchmen motivated like a German on their right wing.
- Wildschwein

I'm willing to put Moose and MDC out there at this point.

Toews has struggled lately for sure.

Tough call to change things up as 5v5 they were solid tonight for the most part.
The PP lost them the game so how or who do you put in to help that without hurting the 5v5 structure.
Boychuck might be a bit slow in the foot and the rookie in a game 3 where your 2-0 down is tough as well, but Dobson might get his shot.
Hopefully they can get that PP going.
Trotz has his decisions and work cut out for him.

ECF which no one predicted. I want to win as much as everyone else. Losing tonight sucked. We win next game and I think it goes 6 to TB, but if we can manage to get to game 7 then we got a shot. Don’t think I need to say next game is a must. Gotta get this far to get a taste. Siht bum “teams” like leafs, oil (sorry schwein) haven’t even got here with their magical rosters. We’re so much further than many teams w “super star” rosters. Coaching is everything. We’re a sniper or two away.

Could very well happen. He was .905% tonight.

I’m not even saying that because I think we’ll lose against Tampa its just where he’s trending. He made some in close pretty good saves tonight but he’s just not the guy who is getting any team through the playoffs imo.

Agree streaks.
They win next game it’s 2-1. Not so terrible. How many times has the Presidents trophy winner won the Cup. Boston didn’t this year.
Not many and it’s typically a lower PO seed that does.

Most picked Tampa to be that extra level team the last 2 years And well.......

I'll take either one. Bobby can skate so he gets the edge.

Probably.

By the way, I missed the pre-game, and the first period was nearly over before I realized Ladd was playing. Hopefully, that experiment is over.

That was just bizarre playing Ladd. MDC has at least gotten into a few games and did not look bad. I thought it was a joke Ladd was playing. Are the Isles trying to showcase Ladd for Parise again?

I thought it was even stranger that the Pageau line with Ladd on it was out on that last shift when they were fairly terrible all night. Definitely a questionable move.

I'm still pissed about the azz beating the Flyers got in game 7 from your guys. I feel you man and hope the islanders turn it around.

I dont expect them to beat tampa but that las shift they should have scored 2x before they did. That's how they have to play while generating a bit more and for Christmas sake shoot the puck because good things happen when you do

I agree. Tampa is the better team. It's no shame to admit this. Isles can still make it a lot harder and yesterday was a huge missed chance to win a game.
