Yeah. Vegas fleeced a bunch of teams. Many should have just excepted losing a good player instead of losing a different good player and losing some good picks.

Flyers will be best served just to lose that player and move forward.

The Flyers were very lucky that they only lost Bellemare.

So I guess we look to protect

Giroux
Hayes
Coots
Tk
Lindblom
Laughton
Patrick (maybe)

Provie
Myers
Sanhiem

Hart

Leaves jvr jake ghost Haag and whomever else we sign or retain.

Right? Farabee won’t be eligible. If patty isn’t healthy then maybe jake. Idk.

Looks like the Isles are doing what they do to Tampa tonight. Bolts have 8 shots halfway through the game.

Maybe a swap of Laughton and Jake also. They will be leaving a good play exposed no matter what. Just gotta bite the bullet.

If you can trade a guy or two to a least get some value that would be great but don’t think that will be easy at this point.

The very fact that after a full year they haven't come out and stated it's concussion related leads one to believe it isn't. What would they have to gain from hiding it? I think if we had the availability of an expert on migraines, we'd find out that you don't have a clue of what you're talking about.

I love when you chime in with your team defending. So let’s break this down
1) I’m 45 and have had migraines since the age of 12. Played baseball football basketball growing up. So well versed on effects of migraines on an athlete. And that was 30 years ago. I have dealt with this condition all my life so yeah pretty sure that would qualify me as an expert on migraines
2) why would the team not disclose it in a year? I don’t know maybe let’s see because they allowed a player to play with concussion symptoms and could open themselves up to lawsuit. I don’t know maybe to save face that they took a busted up player at pick 2 knowing he had injury problems and is weak and can’t take a hit and now might be possibly done with hockey... when your team is run by a corporation and not hockey men these things happen. Scott runs the show. Homer is a puppet. Fletch is a puppet. Mjl is a puppet

You proved nothing as usual. You asked and you made your usual think your smart sly comments and whenever anyone gives you An answer that most semi intelligent people could understand you immediately go to “ you proved my point” blah blah blah. I you must be an alien. Because I have no idea how you’ve stayed around this site or anything else for that matter this long in life. I’ve often wondered what you possibly could do for a living with all the comments from you over the years that I’ve read. I mean to be that way and for so long a period of time. Yearssssssss. That’s why I’ll go to my grave believing you are bill and sit on here to drive up comments hits for $. It’s the only logical explanation. And if your really not bill pretending to be mjl then you really truly need to be studied. Like by profilers because you might be a sociopath.

A few guys I’d like:

Mavrik Bourque
John-Jason Peterka
Ridley Greig

Greig might be a bit of a reach at 23 but he’s an bumhole on the ice and can really stir the pot.

I’m not going to sit here and argue with you about which of us knows more about migraines. I don’t need to look up the meds, I have even tried some.

A bit, a very little bit, of what you have speculated today is possible in the sense that the hits Patrick sustained concussions from also might have triggered his migraines to reoccur. It’s definitely possible to have both a concussion, which could heal, and still have migraines thus a chronic disorder. Any further guessing is just wild speculation because you and I have zero medical information relevant to Patrick.

Hextall drafted Patrick and I cannot believe you think Hextall was, in anyway, a puppet or coerced into picking him. Nor can I believe that you really think having migraines is a sign of weakness with your can’t take a hit comment. If you think those things...

I would say more but I was raised that if all you can say in reply are in the four-letter word family, best not to comment. Cheers.

I don’t blame hexy for taking him at 2. But the fact is there were a lot of pre draft injury questions with Patrick. Add that to fact he never projected to be top line center but more of a really good 2way 2nd line center made me hate the pick. There were a lot of publications that had Petterson ranked higher at center position including elite prospects. Add that to how high makar and miro were rated and the pick really just stunk of a “really safe pick”. When you win lottery and go from 13 to 2 damn take a swing. One of the few criticisms of hexy. On a side note I was at the draft in Chicago that year and saw hexy walk out to bus after draft. I said to him as he walked by “ should’ve taken miro” he just looked at me and smiled. Really wish I was wrong

And maybe I have a little conspiracy theory in my head. Idk. I just can’t stand Scott and flyer upper brass. Hexy was (frank)ed over bad by a corporation. Not a team but corporate. Hexy won a cup in la. He knows the way. Comcast knows $ and that’s it.

Your story still does not lead me to believe that Hextall had great doubts about his pick, rather the opposite. Look sometimes in life bad stuff happens, and it doesn’t always have an explanation or a guidebook on how to proceed. Sometimes you will have questions without answers and problems with no obvious solution. At times you just have to wait. I am sad for Patrick and us that he missed the year. Feel for the pain and unfair criticism he is taking. And hope for a full recovery and success in whatever career choice he makes. If it’s playing hockey, I still believe he is quite talented.
