I don't think it can work that way. No vaccine until the spring of 2021. There will be no fans allowed into areas for concerts and sports events until the vaccine has been deployed. If they decide to wait until fans can be fully present at capacity levels, they will have to burn most of the regular season.

Go listen the interview of Seravalli , he talk about that. No season before a vaccine, a short season , team and player don t want to play in bubble anymore, just Tor- Mont-and NY can survive a full season with no crowd

Rossi and byfield would be interesting since they both come with similar risks.
